Export documents and folders list

Exporting the Manage Documents section of the Room to an Excel file allows you to have a list of all documents and folders.

ℹ️This feature is only accessible to Administrators, Viewers and Publishers.

Exporting the Manage Documents to Excel allows you to see all enabled and disabled documents and folders, who has created the documents and folders, the created date and time and also when the document/folder was last modified.

To export the list of documents and folders, please follow the below steps:


Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room

  • Log in at dash.ansarada.com

Step 2: Locate the Manage Documents Section.

  • On the left-hand side, select "Documents" under "Manage".

Step 3: Export the Index

  • In the top right Actions menu, select Export to Excel in the dropdown.

Step 4: The list of folders and files will be generated in Excel format.

  • The Excel will be dowloaded to your default downloads folder.

FAQs

Will enabled and disabled files be exported?

Yes all files in the room are included in this export, including enabled and disabled files.

Are deleted documents included in this export?

No deleted documents will not be shown in any reports or exports from the Manage Documents Section or any Reporting.

Can I export just disabled documents?

No, this export will include all files. You can then filter the excel to show different statuses.

Is this export secured?

The export is not secured, it downloads in native format and can be shared with colleagues if you so require.
