FAQs

Can I undo the bulk edits?

Bulk edits cannot be undone with a single click. We recommend downloading the latest Excel export of your index. This provides a snapshot of how things looked before the changes were made. It’s useful if you need to undo or compare changes later.

What is the best practice when performing a bulk edit?

If you have a very large room with thousands of documents, we recommend performing the bulk edit in batches.

How do I edit individual documents?

If you are updating just a few items, refer to the Rename Deal Room files or folders online help page.

I have bulk edited the numbering, but the documents or folders are still in the same location?

Using the bulk edit tool to renumber the index will not automatically move the documents into the correct folders. You will need to manually move each folder and document to the desired location.
