This article explains how the deal room owners can set permissions to allow invited parties to download documents from the data room.

Downloading documents in source format
Setting permissions for invited parties to be able to download documents in the same format that they were uploaded in.
Navigate to the tab permissions for the deal room and then select the relevant data room tab.
Select 'Set Team Permissions' for the relevant team.
Enable the 'Download' permission only for the specific folder that you want the invited parties to be able to download native format documents from.
Save changes made.
Downloading documents in PDF format - no watermark
Setting permissions for invited parties to only download documents in PDF format but with no system generated watermark applied to the PDF document.
Please note that the documents need to be uploaded as individual files to the data room and not in a zip file.
Navigate to the tab permissions for the deal room and then select the relevant data room tab.
Select 'Set Team Permissions' for the relevant team.
Enable the 'Download' and 'Save as PDF' permissions for the specific folder that you want the invited parties to be able to download documents in PDF format from.
Save changes made.

Setting permissions for invited parties to only download documents in PDF format and with the system generated watermark applied to the PDF document.
Please note that the documents need to be uploaded as individual files to the data room and not in a zip file.

Select 'Set Team Permissions' for the relevant team.
