TriLine GRC access and record management is structured around Position or Job Title. Responsibility and access permission for each Record type (for example, Risks, Compliance Processes, KRIs, Events, are then allocated to the Position or Job Title, rather than an individual staff member by name.
This simplifies the ongoing management of security should the occupant of a Position changed.
The Security rights given to a Position can relate to the Task they need to complete or to their Business Unit.
Your TriLine GRC Administrator uses the Security Centre menu to:
grant a user access to TriLine GRC and assign the user a Position
create Task Teams to group Positions with similar responsibilities for the completion of tasks
limit what a Position can view, change, edit or complete tasks within TriLine GRC
grant special access to selected Positions allowing those Positions to add new records and create or view reports and dashboards.
This manual follows the process of:
Note: Only Positions in the Administrator System Group can access the Security Centre.
