Folders and documents in a Deal Room can be enabled, disabled, or deleted to control access and visibility. This allows you to safely prepare content, manage user access, and remove files when they’re no longer required. Only Administrators and Publishers can change document status or delete content.
Changing the document status in your deal room
Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room
Log in at dash.ansarada.com.
Step 2: Go to Manage Documents
From the left menu, go to Manage, then choose Documents. This is where you can manage folders and files and view their current status.
Step 3: Review the current document status
In Manage-Documents, document status is shown by text colour. Items shown in red are disabled, while items shown in black are enabled. Checking this first can help you confirm what’s currently visible in the document index.
Step 4: Select folders or documents
Use the checkbox on the left to select a single item, multiple items, or the entire index.
Step 5: Changing the status
Choose the relevant action between Enable, Disable and Delete.
Enable: Select Enable at the top of your page. In the new window, confirm the amount of files and if you want to notify users. Click Enable to apply the change. Enabled items will appear in black and become visible in the Document Index.
Disable: Select Disable at the top of your page. In the new window, confirm the number of files / folders you'd like to disable. Click Disable. Disabled items will appear in red and will no longer be visible in the Document Index.
Delete: Select Delete at the top of your page. n the new window, confirm the number of files / folders you'd like to delete. Click Delete. When a document is deleted, it is removed entirely from the room, and therefore associated reports and audit trail information are also removed. If documents are deleted by mistake, Ansarada Support can assist with reinstatement.
