Adding files and folders to a Room is simple, you can upload one at a time or use Bulk upload to add several files and folders at once. These features are accessible to Admins and Publishers.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Log in to Ansarada OS
Log in at os.ansarada.com
Step 2: Locate the relevant Data Room
Select the relevant room and log in.
Step 3: Go to Documents
In the left menu, under Manage, select Documents.
Step 4: Start a bulk upload
Select Add, then choose Bulk upload.
Step 5.a: Add your files
Option 1: Drag and drop any file, folder, or zip file into the Upload screen. Zip files unzip automatically inside the upload window.
Step 5.b: Add folders
Option 2: From the Bulk Upload window, select the option Add folders and this will let you select the zip file or the parent folder which contains all your files and sub-folders altogether.
Step 5: Choose where files should go
By default they will go directly to the Document index, but you can alter this. Select Change to update the location. Find the parent folder and sub-folders the documents will live under, select the button next to that folder, then select Change.
Step 6: Set documents as enabled or disabled
Under Security, choose whether the files and folders should be Enabled or Disabled. All uploads are Disabled by default.
Step 7: Choose your upload settings
Under Settings, choose whether to Replace existing items, Use my numbering, and/or Notify data room users.
Step 8: Upload your files
Select Start, and your upload will commence. You'll notice a green tick here once the upload is complete.

What's the difference between Enabled and Disabled documents?
Disabled documents don't appear in the Document index until they're enabled, though everyone on the sell side can see them. Enabled documents appear in the Document index, but only to people who've been granted access through security. Only Admins and Publishers can enable or disable documents.

Ansarada can't accept documents with passwords or existing security restrictions. Remove them before uploading, then apply Ansarada's own security controls instead.

Yes you can use the actions button located on the level of that folder, and select Add, bulk upload. Then follow the steps to select the relevant files and folders to upload within that folder.

No, it's better to download from your shared drive to your desktop and upload directly from there. This will stop any clashes between your internal security settings and those of the Data Room.

Only select use my numbering if all files and folders are numbered. Otherwise you can leave this blank and the room will automatically provide numbering for your upload.
