PDFs that are 150MB or less can be previewed straight from the Document Index, without having to download the document.

Previewing PDFs does not require any programs or plugins as it opens within the browser.

⚠️ Good to know: Search, edit, print, comments are not available when previewing PDFs.

To preview a PDF, follow the below steps:

1. Go to the left menu. Under View, select Document index.

2. Locate the PDF, click on the name of the document to open it via Preview.

⚠️ Good to know: If you click the Download icon it will download the document to your computer and not open it in Preview.

3. A new window will open displaying the PDF in the browser.

💡 Tip: Admins, Viewers, and Publishers can also Preview PDFs from the Manage Documents page.

💡 Tip: Click the Download document icon to download the file. If the file has been downloaded and is secured, users will need to use Adobe Reader to open the file. Learn more about setting Adobe as the default PDF viewer for PC here and Mac here
