ℹ️This feature is only available to Room Admins who are also Q&A admins or Q&A observers with Full control in one-way Q&A.
Question subjects allow questions in Q&A to be categorised, helping to streamline and better organise the one-way Q&A process. You can also assign a Subject Owner responsible to take action to your question category. To use Question subjects, guests simply select the relevant question subject when asking a question. To set them up, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room
Log in at dash.ansarada.com
Step 2: Navigate to Q&A management.
Go to the Left menu.
Under Manage, select Q&A.
Step 3: Find Question subjects
Navigate to Question subjects and click edit to the right.
Step 4. Add your Question Subjects.
Enter a single Subject or multiple Subjects, and then select the Subject group. If you don't want to group your subjects, leave as None.
Subject groups sort several subjects together. Enter similar Subjects and you'll have the option to select a Subject group to assign them to.
If you would like your guests to be able to add additional text to their question's Subject, choose to allow free text.
Step 5. Assign a Subject Owner (optional).
Any active user with access to the Subject and with the relevant Q&A role (Answer Approver, Answer Author or Answer Drafter) can be assigned as a Subject Owner.
If selected, all questions submitted with this Subject will be automatically approved and forwarded to the Subject Owner to take further action. The Q&A admin will not be notified.
If at least one subject owner has had their access to the subject revoked, when a question is submitted to that subject the Q&A admin will be notified that it has failed to be forwarded to the owner.
6. Lastly, set up Access and click Add! 🎉
Allow access lets the Team ask and view questions related to that Subject. If access is denied the Team is unable to ask or view questions related to that Subject.

Do I need to have a Subject Group?
Do I need to have a Subject Group?
Subject groups simply allow you to categorise your questions, for example you may have 'Financials' as a subject group, then the individual subjects might be "Revenue operations", "Forecasting" etc. This allows your guests to be really specific with the category that fits their question. It is not however a necessity.
