How to action Questions assigned to users
Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room
Go to dash.ansarada.com and log in.
Step 2: Locate the Q&A section in the room
Click on "Q&A" under the "View" option.
Step 3: Locate and Action the Question
Select the question assigned to you, and you will be able to see the actions available to you.
You will have the option to:
Add your answer to the text box.
Add any attachments that may help to answer the question. (These can be secured).
Select a related item in your index.
You may also have the option to add a comment in the comment box (these are only visible to internal users) when forwarding questions.
Actions Available to Each Q&A Role
There are various actions that can be performed when answering a question in a one-way Q&A room. The actions available depend on the person’s Q&A role.

What each action means when actioning a question
Approve and forward the Question | Approve the submitted question and forward it to an Answer Author, Answer Approver, or Answer Drafter. |
Answer Question and disclose the Answer | The Q&A Administrator can answer the question directly and disclose the answer. |
Answer Question and request approval | Answer the question assigned to you and forward it to an Answer Approver for review. |
Answer and forward the Question | Answer the question assigned to you and forward it to an Answer Author or Answer Approver for review. |
Reject Question | The Q&A Administrator can reject the question and send it back. |
Answer Question and send to Q&A Administrator | Answer the question assigned to you and send it back to the Q&A Administrator to disclose the answer. |
Forward Question | Forward the question assigned to you to another Answer Author, Answer Approver, or Answer Drafter. |

Can I attach documents to my answer?
Yes, you can attach documents to your answer by using the “Attachment” section under the answer box.
Can I apply Ansarada Security to attachments?
Can I apply Ansarada Security to attachments?
Only users who are Administrators in the room can apply Ansarada security to PDF documents when they are added as attachments. Administrators cannot apply security to documents uploaded by users with other room roles.
Alternatively, they can upload the document into the room from within the Q&A section by going to “Related Items,” locating the folder, and clicking the three lines to the right of the folder. The same security applied to the folder will then be applied to the document.

If you do not see a user to forward the question or answer to, they might not have a Q&A role in the room, or they might not have access to the Q&A subjects.
Questions cannot be forwarded to other Q&A Administrators, as they can see the entire Q&A in the room and can choose which questions they want to answer.
Can I link a document that’s already in the Room?
Can I link a document that’s already in the Room?
Yes, you can link a document that is already in the room using the “Related Items” section when answering the question.
You will get an error if you try to link a disabled folder or a document/folder that the question-asking team does not have access to.
