When a question is submitted via the Q&A tool, it can have different statuses, depending on what actions are required on the question. Below you will be able to identify what each status means.
ℹ️ Statuses are only available if a Q&A role has been assigned.
How to Check the status of a question
Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room
Log in at dash.ansarada.com
Step 2: Navigate to the Q&A Tool
The Q&A tool can be found on the left-hand side of the page under "View."
Step 3: How to Locate the Status of a Question
The status for each question is displayed in the Status column.
Statuses Available to Internal Teams / Clients / Sell side
The below table shows statuses available to the internal teams who are answering questions, they appear in the order a question might progress through the workflow.
Status | Definition |
Answer awaiting refinement | The answer Approver requested the answer to be refined. |
Answer awaiting approval request or disclosure | An Amended answer has been sent to the Q&A Administrator and is now awaiting approval or disclose. |
Answer awaiting approval | The answer is awaiting approval from the Answer Approver. |
Answer rejected | The answer was not accepted by the Q&A Administrator or Answer Approver |
Answer awaiting disclosure - modified by Answer Approver | After the question was answered by an Answer Drafter, it was modified by an Answer Approver and is now with the Q&A Administrator awaiting disclosure.

Statuses Available to Guests Asking Questions
Status | Definition |
Awaiting approval by Question Approver | The Question Author asked a question, and the Question Approver needs to approve it before it is sent to the Q&A Administrator |
Rejected by Question Approver | The Question Approver decided that this question should not go onto the Q&A Administrator |
Awaiting approval by Q&A Administrator | The question has been sent to the Q&A Administrator and is now awaiting their action. |
Rejected by Q&A Administrator | The question has been declined and sent back to the person who wrote it. |
Question awaiting Answer | The question has been approved by the Q&A Administrator and is now ready to be answered. |
Disclosed | The question has been answered and the answer has been revealed. |
Disclosed -awaiting additional user notification | The question has been answered and the answer has been revealed. The Question Approver can choose to notify users in their group via email that this question has been answered. |

What happens when a question or answer is awaiting someone’s action and there is multiple users with the same Q&A role?
When a Q&A item is awaiting action, any user with the corresponding Q&A role can take ownership of that task. The first user who actions the item will complete or move it forward, and other users with the same role will no longer need to take action. This ensures that tasks are processed efficiently and prevents duplicate work.
What happens if I'm a guest and my question is rejected by a Q&A administrator, will I get to re-submit it?

When a question is rejected you will be able to adjust and re-submit it, or simply submit a new question. The rejected question does not count towards your total submitted questions once it has been rejected.
