How to disable your deal room

If your deal is coming to a close, you can close your room from the settings. Cancel your room and subscription.

Rooms are typically disabled when the deal has ended and the rooms contents are not needed for post-completion or investor reporting. When Rooms are disabled no one, including the Admin can access the Room. Files with Security controls on them that have been obtained from the Room and saved will no longer be accessible. 


⚠️Good to know: Rooms can be disabled immediately, or can be scheduled to be disabled at a particular date and time.

Disable room immediately or at a certain date.

To disable the Room, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room

Log in at dash.ansarada.com

Step 2: Navigate to the Settings page

On the left tool bar, click on the Settings page.

Step 3: Open Actions and Close Project

Go to Actions in the top right of your screen and click Close Project.

a. Within the pop-up you'll see 2 options to close your room. Select either Immediately OR On this date to schedule closure for a specific date and time. For the latter, your room will be disabled on the date and time you choose. This can be changed/ cancelled ahead of that date.

b. Complete the fields in the survey form, including;

  • Estimated project valuation

  • Completion Status

  • How likely you are to recommend Ansarada

  • Why you selected that score

  • And any additional feedback which is always welcomed

Step 4: Open Actions and Close Project

Finally select Close Project if you're ready to close.

FAQ

Could my deal room be frozen instead of disabled?

Rooms could be frozen towards the end of a deal, before it's closed. When Rooms are frozen they're still live and accessible, but no changes can be made in them by anyone including Administrators. Can I create an archive of my deal room before or after closing it?

If you would like to request an Archive of the Room, select Get data room archive. Learn more about archiving a Room here. This can be done before or after you close the room.

Are Archive links accessible after the deal room is disabled?

Archive links remain active for 30 days after its creation regardless if the data room has been disabled or not. Learn more about archive links here.

Will my subscription end when my data room gets disabled?

Disabling your Deal Room prior your renewal subscription date will automatically cancel your subscription renewal.

If you do not disable your deal room before the renewal date, it will renew automatically for the same term.

Can I renew my subscription plan for a shorter period of time instead of disabling my data room?

Yes, you can change your subscription plan prior to your next renewal.

Please note: Changes to your subscription cannot be made during the active term — they are only possible at the end of the subscription period.

Can I reopen my data room once it has been disabled?

You can contact Support at any time during the first 90 days if you'd like to reopen your Data Room.

If you need to store your content beyond 90 days, consider Ansarada Always at a cost-effective cost.

How do I know when my room was disabled?

You will receive an email notification upon closure of your room, this will be the day the room has been deactivated. You can also ask our support team via email for any further information.
