What does this feature do?
We know that Q&A can move pretty quickly, with questions coming in and piling up... waiting to be assigned and answered all whilst you're managing the rest of the transaction and BAU. We're M&Ade by Design to support you in streamlining your Q&A process, this includes the ability to bulk import answers via the Q&A featue.
External guests are already able to bulk upload their questions which are then submitted into the room as individual questions each with it's own audit trail and possible actions. You can now bulk import your answers; simply download the template, collaborate with colleagues offline and when ready import this back to the room. The questions will match the existing IDs in the room and be ready for your review and approval.
Why does this help me?
Used to using excel to answer due diligence questions? The bulk import answers template allows you to answer questions in that same way that works for you. Use the excel to effectively collaborate offline with the relevant people whether that's in a committee meeting, workshop or client call, then import your answers in one swift move.
Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room
Log in at os.ansarada.com
Step 2: Navigate to the Q&A Section
On the left-hand side, click "Q&A" under "View."
Step 3: Download your Answer Template
Go to the top right of the page, select Actions and Bulk import answers.
Step 4: Collaborate offline in Excel
Open the downloaded Answer template, unprotect the sheet so you can make edits. Filter, and answer your questions as required. Note you will need to input your answers to column K "Your answer"
Step 5: Save and import to the room
Save the file and return to the room.
Within the Bulk import answers page, click browse to locate your saved file full of answers and press review answers.
Step 6: Review and add your answers.
Upon clicking review, you'll see the questions to which you have provided answers will only appear. (Any unanswered questions will not appear in this window). Review this page and once happy click Add X answers.
These answers will only be added in a draft format and should still be reviewed, approved and disclosed.

Why can't I import my excel?
There are 4 reasons this may happen.
The file you're trying to upload is not the template downloaded from the room.
You are trying to submit answers to more than 200 questions in one go. The import answers is limited to 200 at one time.
No answers are found in your excel. Check you've imported your answers to the right column and saved them.
There are some answers which exceed the 10,000 character limit. Please adjust these answers, re-save and re-upload.

You will only be able to download a template showing questions that you have access to within the room. If you don't have access to all questions you will not be able to action other questions.
Alternatively only unanswered questions will appear in this template, you cannot re-answer a question which is disclosed without un-disclosing it first.
