Replace an existing document in the room with an updated version

Step 1: Log in to the Ansarada Data Room

  • Log in at dash.ansarada.com

Step 2: Locate the document

  • Go to "Manage Documents," select locate the document you want to update with a new version

Step 3: Update the document with the new version

  • Click the three lines to the right of the document, then click Edit. Locate the new document you want to upload.

Step 4: Select the upload settings

  • Check the box next to Notify people that document has been updated. This will send an email notifying them about the new document.

  • Press Save to update the document in the room.

FAQs

Can I bulk update documents in the room with newer versions?

The room will automatically detect matching documents that have the same name, type, and location. When you bulk upload, documents that meet these conditions will replace the older versions in the room.

Can I update a document without it being visible to external users?

You can disable the document in the room before updating it with a newer version, and then enable it to make it visible to external users.

How can I check a previous version of the document?

The document history will show previous versions of the document that have been uploaded, including the date, time, and name of the person who made the update. You have the option to restore any previous version of the document using the Restore button.

How can I check who has received a notification about the document?

You can check the Document Notifications to see who has received notifications about the document.

Can I hide a file I've already uploaded?

You can hide files by disabling them, see the instructions here.
