What is Workflow?

Workflow is the RFI management part of the data room where requests for information (or tasks to be done) are stored. Here you can make comments, update the status of a request, assign users on your team, and upload relevant documents.

The Document Index is where documents in the data room are physically stored. In Buy Side Deals data rooms, your document uploads in Workflow to tabs shared by the Acquirer are automatically indexed and stored in the data room.

If you're accustomed to Excel, think of Workflow tabs as your Excel tracker that has links to documents in a data room. With us, the tracker and documents are all in one place in Ansarada, allowing seamless collaboration while reducing manual time spent.

How can I upload a document to a request?

Click the Upload button and choose which file you would like to upload. Your uploaded files will automatically move to Document index on tabs shared by the Acquirer.

Please note the order of your folder structure may not exactly match RFI. Only changes in Workflow sync to Document index. The Acquirer may choose to reorder or renumber content in Document index as per their discretion.

How can I delete the file?

For now, the only way to delete files is to ask an Administrator to delete incorrect submissions on your behalf. You can reach out to them via Comments.

How can I ask a question or submit my RFI response?

Add commentary for the other party. Comments now show in Table view, so you stay informed on what’s happening in Workflow. Ask questions, provide responses and track progress - all from one view.
