Why am I not receiving Q&A notifications even though I have notifications ON in my settings?
There could be a few reasons for this:
If you are on the Sell Side of the data room and subjects are enabled in the Q&A system, your team must have access to the relevant subject. Only then will you receive a notification when a Q&A Admin or another internal Sell Side user forwards a question to you.
If you are on the Buy Side and someone from your team submits a question, only the person who originally submitted the question will receive a notification once the Q&A Admin discloses the answer. A question approver can also choose to notify you.
If a Question Approver is assigned within your team Buy side team, then the Question Approver will receive the notification first and they can choose to notify you.
If you cannot find the email in your inbox or spam folder, you may need to ask your IT team to whitelist the following email addresses:

If I am a Q&A Administrator, why can't I notify or forward a question or answer to another Q&A Administrator for review?
This is because a user must have one of the following roles to receive questions or answers from the Q&A Administrator: Answer Approver, Answer Author, or Answer Drafter. Q&A administrators cannot forward a question to another Q&A administrator, because questions assigned to Q&A admins are assigned to all of them each time.
If you are also the Data Room Administrator, you can update the user’s role by following the steps provided in this link.
If you are not the Data Room Administrator, please contact your administrator and request the role change on behalf of your colleague(s) so you can forward Q&As to them for review.
