If you receive this error try these troubleshooting suggestions to resolve the issue.

❗️Error: The service at https-secureoffice1-ansarada-com-wmcs-licensing-is-temporarily-unavailable. Ensure that you have connectivity to this server. This error could be caused because you are working offline, your proxy settings are preventing your connection, or you are experiencing intermittent network issues.

This error can occur if you need to add Ansarada to your trusted sites or have expired certificates from Microsoft Office on your computer.

Adding to trusted sites

To resolve the issue add https://secureoffice1.ansarada.com to your list of trusted sites by following these steps for your browser.

Deleting expired certificates

To resolve the issue, delete these expired certificates from your computer.

PC

If you have Administrator access to your computer, you may be able to do this without the help of your IT department using the following steps:

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications completely.
2. Log in to Windows with administrative access.
3. Open Windows explorer.
4. Enable hidden items to view hidden directories and files.

  • To find out how to show hidden files on Windows, visit this page.If using Office 2013 or later locate C:\Users[USERLOGIN]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MSIPCIf using Office 2007 or 2010 locate: C:\Users[USER LOGIN]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\DRM If the directories exist, you'll see this:

5. Delete all files in the folder.
6. Re-open the Office Document (Or use this test document to see if the problem has been resolved).

💡Tip: Depending on your permissions, you may need to contact your IT Team.

Mac

If you have Administrator access to your computer, you may be able to do this without the help of your IT department using the following steps:

1. Clear out saved servers and security templates.

1.1 Open Finder.

1.2 Select command + shift + G.

1.3 Under Go to the folder: type ~/Library.

1.4 Select Go.

1.5 Select Application Support > Microsoft > Office > DRM.

1.6 Delete all the items under this folder. The "Manage Credentials" option will show an expected error message that no servers have been configured.

⚠️Good to know: If you have other, non-Ansarada Office DRM servers e.g. internal corporate, these will also be removed.

2. Clear out your Office preferences.

2.1 Open Finder.


2.2 Select command + shift + G.


2.3 Under Go to the folder: type ~/Library.


2.4 Select Go Open the Preferences folder.


2.5 Delete all items beginning with com.microsoft.

This will remove some saved settings, such as Don't show the friendly start up screen.

3. Restart Excel (force quit and restart).

4. Re-open the Office Document (Or use this test document to see if the problem has been resolved).

1. Are you using a PC or a Mac?
2. Which operating system are you running? (i.e. OSX or Windows)
3. Which Version of Microsoft office are you running? (Office 2007/10/11/13 or Office 2016)
4. Which browser are you using and which version? (i.e. Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox)
5. Are you using Citrix or another version of remote desktop software?
6. Could you please send through a screenshot of the error when opening the document?

7. Which Version of Microsoft office are you running? (Office 2007/10/11/13 or Office 2016/2019/2021/365)

8. Which browser are you using and which version? (i.e. Chrome, Edge, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox)
