Enhancing your account security is a top priority for us. One effective way to achieve this is by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA). This guide will walk you through the simple steps of downloading an authenticator application, an essential component of the MFA process.

What is an authenticator application?

An authenticator application is a software program that generates one-time password (OTP), usually a 6-digit code which is valid for a short period of time. When you log in to your Ansarada profile, you will be asked to enter the 6-digit code that is generated by your authenticator application.

There are many different authenticator applications available, but some of the most popular ones include:

How to download an authenticator application?

  1. Go to your app store (App Store on iPhones or the Google Play Store on Android devices). Search for the authenticator app you prefer.

  2. Download and install the app onto your device.

  3. Open the app you just downloaded. Depending on the app, you might need to log in with your Google or Microsoft account. Alternatively, you might be able to use the app without logging in.

  4. In the app, you'll likely see an option that says "Add Account" or "Scan QR Code." Click on this option to continue.

  5. That's it! These simple steps will help you get started with your authenticator app.
