ℹ️ This feature is only accessible to people who have subscribed to Ansarada Advisor Freemium plan through e-commerce after February 5, 2024.

At Ansarada, we understand the importance of efficiency and streamlining processes for our clients. That's why we have developed cutting-edge digital and automation features to make transferring subscription ownership a breeze. With Ansarada's digital transfer process, you can easily and securely transfer ownership of your subscription to your client. This eliminates the need for 10 emails back and forth, and multiple calls with your client JUST to get a quote signed. Our streamlined process saves you time and ensures a smooth transition of ownership.

How to Transfer Subscription Ownership

If you're not up for keeping the subscription all to yourself and your client wants to be in charge, no sweat! It's super easy to transfer the subscription ownership. Your client can activate the subscription and get things rolling before going live.

Follow these steps to get started:

💡Tip: You can create Buy side teams and add people to the teams before activating the subscription.

  1. Go to the Left menu. Under Manage, select Sell side or Buy side.

    ⚠️Good to know: The wording on the internal and external tabs for managing Teams/people under the Left menu changes based on the Room’s transaction type. Learn more here.

  2. You will see the Activate your subscription section on the top of the page, select Activate subscription now.

  3. A new screen will display for activating the subscription. Enter details for the subscription owner (your client) and we will send an email to the owner to complete the activation. You can also add a note to the email for a personalised touch.

    ⚠️Good to know: The new subscription owner must be an Administrator in the Room. Once the transfer is complete, you will no longer manage the subscription, but you'll retain Administrator access to the product.

  4. Click Next step to recommend a subscription plan, we will add this in the email we send to the subscription owner.

  5. Click Next step to review your activation request. You can review the activation request email and click Request activation to send it out.

💡Tip: The activation link will expire in 5 days. If needed, you can send a new request by clicking View Request and selecting Request activation. You'll receive email notifications about the transfer status.

Next steps for your client

Your client can easily review and accept your activation request by following these steps:

  1. Locate the subscription activate request email from your email inbox, and click the Activate subscription button.

    💡Tip: If you're having problems receiving the email, you can try the following:

    • Check your junk / spam folder.

    • If you still can’t find it, ask your IT team to whitelist the following email address:
      [email protected].

  2. You will be redirected to the Room sign-up or login page. Simply create a profile or log in with your existing Ansarada profile and password.

  3. Choose your subscription plan and preferred payment.

  4. Click Enter billing & payment details to update your billing details. If you opt to pay via credit card or direct debit, enter your credit card or direct debit details on the subscription portal as well.

  5. Congratulations! You have successfully activated your subscription and can now invite Buy side/Investor. Follow this guide on how to send invites.
